We use a central heat/air unit, but I always want to keep an alternative emergency heat source. However, I struggled with a way to hide this unit until needed.
We purchased an unfinished jelly cabinet which I stained and chalk painted to match an existing cabinet. We excluded the interior shelf and cabinet back, and cut a space to allow for the heat pipes.
Should be find ourselves without power during the winter months, we will slide the cabinet away from our emergency LP gas heater.
Until then, it remains behind this jelly cabinet!
