April Blooms

More spring bulbs are up and now the flowering cherry trees are in full swing too. A few of their branches dress the birdbaths and grace our table. "Gudoshnik" tulips in our front yard will be popping this week and the single and double-flowering Kerria shrubs provide a bright splash of yellow amid all the new green spring growth. A whole day ahead of me to spend in the garden, my idea of nirvana.
