Hutch Makeover

You can see it was missing knobs and needed some TLC! That's just what it got too. First step was to remove the knobs and hinges. We also removed the scalloped top piece since its what seemed to date the piece.

With the scallop removed we created a new top with crown molding. Wow did that update it.

Next was to paint the whole piece with General Finishes Chalk Style Paint in Empire Gray. The paint went on really well and totally transformed the hutch.

The hinges were cleaned up and spray painted black. Then pretty updated knobs were added. Now it's more on trend and not outdated. I think I'll keep the hutch now!
